Celebrate the birthday of one of the most beloved children’s authors.

  • Make a hat just like the Cat’s
  • Enjoy some quiet time in our Dr. Seuss reading room with some of his classics
  • Have fun at the photo station
  • Learn more about Dr. Seuss through worksheets and other activities related to Dr. Seuss and your favorite characters.
  • Participate in super Seuss-inspired science demos in BASF’s Kids’ Lab!

Children are welcome to come dressed as their favorite Seuss character!

Make sure you visit our rotating exhibitions some of which will be closing shortly after this special day.

Astro Day

Join the Morris Museum Astronomical Society for a day and evening of programs, activities, and experiences that are truly “Out of this World.” Enjoy solar observations, super science fun in BASF’s Kids’ Lab, and participate in a Touch the Music workshop.





Dino Day

Travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed New Jersey over 65 million years ago! Examine real fossils, meet a dinosaur expert and participate in a fossil hunt by Field Station: Dinosaurs. Participate in a Touch the Music workshop, and enjoy prehistoric themed experiments in BASF’s Kids’ Lab.
