Mariel Bildsten Septet
with Imani Rousselle play Basie and Ellington
Trombone sensation, Mariel Bildsten made her Morris Museum debut with Dan Levinson in 2018, stunning audiences with her artistry, knowledge of, and love for Jazz classics. Since then, she has delighted our audiences by playing with Dan Braden, Evan Sherman, and as a headliner inside the Bickford Theatre and on the Back Deck. Now you can hear her at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and on tour with great ensembles worldwide – just next week with Arturo O’Farrill’s Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra in Mexico City!
Join us as she returns to the Morris Museum with her septet and vocalist, Imani Rouselle to pay tribute to the great works of Count Basie and Duke Ellington on November 5! This ensemble of the great new voices in NYC jazz will put their spin on classics like Lover Man, I Got it Bad, Take the A Train, and Polka Dots and Moonbeams.
Known for her thoughtful arrangements of Jazz standards and her stellar musicianship and charm, Mariel Bildsten always offers sophistication and fun!
Ticket handling fees apply. The Morris Museum has adopted a dynamic mask policy for upcoming events in the Bickford Theatre.
