EDUCATIONAL GROUP VISITS

Step beyond the classroom and into a world of creativity at the Morris Museum! Our Educational Group Visit Program invites children of PreK–12th grade to engage in hands-on experiences that blend fine art, natural sciences, and local history. Through interactive exhibitions and educator-led tours, students will explore new perspectives, ask big questions, and spark bold ideas. Every visit is a chance to think inventively, create fearlessly, and explore freely.

How large can my group be?

We can have a MAX of 50 students per visit, per day. If your group is larger than 50, you will need more than 1 visit day.

How many adults are needed to accompany the students on their visit?

We have a 1: 8, adult to student ratio. This number includes teachers, staff, and parent chaperones.

What days can my group visit?

All school groups are scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The Museum is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays.

What time can my group arrive at the museum?

All school group visitors are expected to arrive between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. This gives us an opportunity to provide a more personalized tour experience in the morning while the Museum is still closed to the public.

How long does a school visit last?

Our school visits are geared towards a 3-hour timeframe. This is also dependent on the package you choose.

Is there a space to eat lunch?

Yes! The Museum has a designated space for groups to eat bagged lunches.

Is there parking for our School Bus?

Yes! Your bus can park in our side parking lot. Your driver is welcome to sit and wait in our Museum Pavillion throughout your visit.

Can I take photos/ videos in the museum during my visit?
