The Juneteenth Arts Celebration is a two-day event that unites four non-profit organizations to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. This FREE event celebrates the African American community and provides the public access to local artists, food, dance, music, and other festivities at major cultural venues in Morristown and Morris Township.

Join us for a FREE evening at The Morris Museum as we honor the holiday with a curator-led tour through our stunning indoor and outdoor galleries, live DJ sets by Johnny Butler, and an inspiring conversation in the Bickford Theatre. Moderated by acclaimed author Donna Walker-Kuhne, the discussion brings together artists Ron Powell and O’Neil Scott alongside gallerists Tanya Weddemire and Cheryl Mack for an evening of candid voices and shared vision.

This event is hosted in partnership with Morris Arts, Art in the Atrium, Mayo Performing Arts Center, and the Morris Museum. Morris Arts will be sponsoring the artist conversation.
