Best for ages 8 and up.
This facilitated hands-on sketching activity is free with admission to all visitors. Participants closely observe and sketch cellphone parts and the minerals they are made of. Participants then make connections between the cellphone parts and the minerals, observing and reflecting on the unseen connections between our devices and the natural world.
After participating in this activity, visitors are invited to explore the Morris Museum’s very own Rocks and Minerals Collection!
