Take a journey into the past and discover the captivating history of Twin Oaks Mansion, a Neo-Georgian estate originally constructed in 1913 for Peter Hood Ballantine Frelinghuysen and his wife Adaline (née Havemeyer). This magnificent structure, which is now the heart of the Morris Museum, has served as our primary facility since 1964 and is over a century old. Located in the Normandy Park Historic District, this McKim, Mead, and White-designed mansion and eight-acre campus is a registered member of the National Register of Historic Places.

Uncover the mansion’s rich history and discover how it has been transformed into a modern-day center for lifelong learning, discovery, and creativity.
