Described as “Australian guitarist brothers making history” (The Age), Ziggy & Miles are among Australia’s finest young musicians forging an international career. Winners of the 2023 YCA Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, they are the first guitar duo and only the second guitarists ever to receive this prestigious award in its history. Their performances are acclaimed for “deeply considered musicianship, immaculate care and superlative technique” (5MBS). Their album Sidekick was named one of WQXR’s “Best New Classical Albums of 2023,” featuring new works written for the duo, their arrangement of Debussy’s Clair de Lune, and music from Spain, Latin America, and Australia. With over 50 awards between them, Ziggy & Miles have received major prizes from the Guitar Foundation of America, Adelaide International Guitar Festival, and Melbourne Recital Centre.

Their debut album Recollections (2014) paid tribute to the music that shaped their early years. In the 2024–25 season, the brothers made their Kennedy Center and Merkin Hall debuts, were musicians-in-residence at Dumbarton Oaks, and appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall Citywide, Dame Myra Hess Series, and the Kravis Center. Upcoming 2025–26 highlights include performances at Newport Classical, Skaneateles Festival, Lied Center, and Brazil’s Sociedade de Cultura Artística. Graduates of The Juilliard School, they were the first Australians and first guitar duo accepted into its Artist Diploma program. Dedicated to community engagement, their Music Always tour brought performances to aged care and medical facilities across Victoria, Australia—an experience they call one of their most meaningful.
