Enjoy the distinctive open space of the grand Entrance Pavilion, linking our Georgian-style mansion with sleek modern glass walls. Experience the warmth of the Dodge Room with a small intimate group of friends. Create a unique experience for your clients, friends, and guests that is sure to create a lasting impression. The stage, concert piano, audiovisual systems, pantry, elevator, wheelchair access, and complimentary parking provide many possibilities for events, shows, wedding receptions, lectures, and meetings.

The Museum provides event planning assistance and suggested vendor lists. Clients enjoy after-hours access to select Museum galleries. Corporate members receive a discount on rental fees. Join us for holiday parties, corporate meetings, customer appreciation days, or black-tie dinners.

The Morris Museum has provided the community with more than 100 years of exhibitions, entertainment, and education with all the proceeds from rentals directly supporting the Museum’s mission. We have weekend dates from Sept 25-December 30 2020 available.

No minimum guest count required.  Feel free to rent 1 or 2 of our event spaces or the entire museum!

Entrance Pavilion is 2000 square feet with 22 foot high ceilings
25% capacity is 35 guests
(50 guests if combined with theatre lobby)

Museum Court is 1000 square feet, 30 foot high ceilings with the sky light and 2nd level promenade
25% capacity is 25 guests

Hennessey Hall is 817 square feet
25% capacity is 12 guests

Bickford Theatre (for ceremonies or lectures/presentations only) no food or beverage
25% capacity is 78 guests

Entrance Pavilion

The stunning glass Entrance Pavilion serves as the gateway to the museum galleries, as well as the Bickford Theatre. Incorporating sleek modern architecture with original brick walls of our Georgian-style mansion, the Entrance Pavilion is perfect for cocktail receptions, dinners, presentations and more.

Capacity: 140 reception / 120 seated (Seating capacity varies based on room configuration)

Museum Court

A one-of-a-kind area, linking the 1913 Twin Oaks mansion with a modern two-story promenade, the Museum Court boasts a breathtaking skylight, allowing natural light to shine through. Central to the museum’s galleries, including the museum’s Guinness Collection exhibition, the Court is a unique and spacious area to hold a reception, shower or meeting.

Capacity: 100 reception / 85 seated (Seating capacity varies based on room configuration)

Bickford Theatre and Theatre Lobby

The museum’s 312-seat Bickford Theatre is ideal for meetings, presentations, recitals, plays, concerts or symposiums plus wedding ceremonies. Our on-site technical director will assist with plans for your event. Receptions or dinner parties can be arranged to precede or follow your presentation in the theatre.

Capacity: 312 seated

Hennessy Hall

The original foyer of our historic Twin Oaks mansion, Hennessy Hall is a beautifully decorated space that serves well as an attractive backdrop for small receptions or an additional space for larger events. During the holiday season, the stately staircase is adorned with festive garland, serving as a lovely focal point for your event.

Can be used for a small intimate wedding or as a quaint conference space.

Capacity: 80 reception / 50 seated (Seating capacity varies based on room configuration)

Dodge Room

Ideal for executive dinners, luncheons, family occasions, showers, presentations or other small gatherings, the elegant Dodge Room is located in the original Twin Oaks mansion. Its décor includes historic moldings, a baby grand piano, antique furniture, artwork and sculpture. Rental of the Dodge Room may be combined with Hennessy Hall for an intimate event.

Can be used for a small intimate wedding or as a quaint conference space.

Capacity: 50 reception / 32 seated (Seating capacity varies based on room configuration)

Mansion Conference Room

Located on the upper level of the mansion, the Conference Room is equipped with a large conference table, side table for refreshments and private restroom. Of special note is the hand-painted mural depicting life on the Twin Oaks farm during the 1920s.  This was the original master bedroom of the mansion.

This room can also be used by bridal parties to prepare for their wedding/reception. It has plenty of natural light for having your make-up applied. The conference room also includes a floor length mirror.

Gallery Access

Galleries may remain open during your event. The Morris Museum has permanent and changing exhibits that are sure to attract the interest of your guests.

Inventory Use

Included with any room rental is use of our inventory. There are a variety of tables, 120 chairs, a piano, easels, a podium, a projector and screen.


The Morris Museum has convenient onsite, complimentary parking.


We have a dynamic list of experienced vendors that can be provided. Vendors include caterers, photographers, DJ’s, hotels, valet parking and more!
