Native Americans
Designed for grades 3-8
Description
Led by a museum educator, this guided tour invites students to explore remarkable objects used by Native Peoples in daily life—including pottery, textiles, baskets, carvings, beadwork, and quillwork—originating from the Northeast Woodlands, the Southwest, the Great Plains, and the Pacific Northwest Coast.
Following the tour, groups have the option to book a hands-on art-making activity inspired by Native American traditions and their thoughtful use of natural resources.
This program is designed for grades 3–8.
