Bird Walk at Great Swamp and Exhibition Tour
Sunday, October 11, 2026 | 8 AM to Noon
All the birds featured in the exhibition Audubon Songbirds from the Dr. Michael and Elyn Stubblefield Collection can be found local to the Morris Museum. Join us for a special bird walk at nearby Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge where Michael Stubblefield and fellow birder Shayna Marchese will take participants on a two-hour adventure to look for and observe a variety of species.
After the walk, participants are invited to meet at the museum for refreshments and a special tour of the exhibition from 11 AM-12 PM.
This program is suitable for people ages 12+ and requires walking on a boardwalk and some uneven ground.
The meeting spot and other details will be shared with registrants the week before the event. Participants we encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes or boots and bring binoculars if they can- there will also be loaners available.
Registration is full.
