Fresh Perspectives
Morris Museum’s annual high school student exhibition
Fresh Perspectives has been a cornerstone of the Morris Museum since 1989, providing a platform for New Jersey’s most accomplished high school artists to showcase their creativity, curiosity, and vision. Each year, art teachers across the state nominate their students’ work for consideration, ensuring that the exhibition highlights the very best emerging talent.
The exhibition celebrates outstanding works across a wide range of media—including photography, drawing, painting, digital art, and sculpture—that reflect the diverse perspectives and talents of young artists from across the Garden State. Their thought-provoking creations continue to inspire our community and spark meaningful conversations about art and the world we share.
A panel of jurors carefully selects fifty works to be presented in the museum galleries and featured in a digital catalogue, affirming Fresh Perspectives as an enduring tradition that honors artistic excellence and the voices of the next generation.
