Five Collection Highlights from the Japanese Collection

Guest Curator Tour

Free with Museum admission. No registration required.

The Museum invited Post-war Japanese art expert and Guest Curator, Midori Yoshimoto has selected and interpreted a range of Japanese works in our care.

Join us on Saturday, January 24th for an intimate walkthrough of five standout works from the Morris Museum’s Japanese collection. This guided experience pairs close-looking with storytelling: learn the histories, materials, and creative choices that make each object exceptional, see conservation and display decisions up close, and discover how these works connect to broader cultural and artistic currents across Japan’s long visual history.
