Experience an interactive movement session with dancers from Nimbus Dance within the immersive world of Laia Cabrera and Isabelle Duverger’s Perennial Land installation. This 45 minute session offers an extraordinary opportunity to engage with professional dancers from Nimbus Dance and gain insight into the creative processes behind ANIMA, to be performed at the Bickford Theatre on Friday, February 27. Museum visitors of all ages and abilities are introduced to the ways that Nimbus Dance works with the body’s innate abilities to sense, communicate, and move in relation to others and the environment around us.
Immediately following the participatory movement experience, Perennial Land’s video artists Laia Cabrera and Isabelle Duverger join the Nimbus dancers to discuss the interface of movement and video imagery in uncovering human relationships to the natural world.
