Discover the rich, expressive world of embroidery in this immersive 8-week course that blends history, culture, and hands-on artistry. From ancient traditions to contemporary techniques, participants will explore a wide range of embroidery methods that have adorned clothing, signified status, and told stories for centuries.

Each week introduces a new approach to embroidery, beginning with foundational stitches and their cultural significance, then progressing to more intricate styles. Along the way, participants will learn how each technique has evolved across time and place, gaining both historical context and practical skill.

The course culminates in a personal embroidery collage project that combines learned techniques and materials, allowing each student to create a piece that is both technically rich and uniquely expressive.

Whether you’re new to embroidery or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop offers a vibrant and creative space to stitch, learn, and connect.
