Nimbus Dance, reconceives Prokofiev’s iconic musical story, Peter and The Wolf, as Peter/The Wolf, where Peter and the Wolf are different sides of the same character, and the classical score is interpreted through an American folk music lens by renowned composer and multi-instrumentalist Tim Eriksen. With puppets by Vermont’s Sandglass Theater, and scenic design by painter Susan Brearey, Nimbus’ trademark creativity and originality bring to life this story of the wildness and the courage within us and around us.

Peter/the Wolf is suitable for all ages. The program will also include Memo, a signature work, performed by Nimbus’ company dancers and an intergenerational cast of residents from the Morristown community.

With an international company of dancers, Nimbus reaches 16,000 people annually, performing throughout the NJ/NY area and nationally, including with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood.
