Hear renowned photographer, Jay Blakesberg, recall his experiences photographing the unique and colorful modern day hippie tribe and his journey through the decade-by-decade evolution of fashion, music, and pop culture which includes captivating stories of artists such as the Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, and many more. This one hour talk will be held in the museum theater followed by a signing of the artist’s most recent book RetroBlakesberg.
After the talk, explore the exhibition of this iconic photographer in his first solo museum retrospective.
This event is free with paid Museum admission and for Museum Members. This event is first-come, first-serve until the Bickford Theatre is at capacity.
