Get to know a beloved patron of our community
Step into local history in this gallery, dedicated to Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge (1882-1973). During her lifetime she donated money and land to help the town of Madison, New Jersey, grow and flourish, and established Saint Hubert’s Giralda, a local animal shelter, in 1937. She was the daughter of William and Almira Goodsell Rockefeller, and the wife of Marcellus Hartley Dodge.
Founded as a permanent memorial for Mrs. Dodge in 1975, the Dodge Room is home to paintings and sculpture that speak to her life, her passion for animal welfare, and her impact on the community.
