Ed Harris received an Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of American painter Jackson Pollock in this 2000 film that he also directed. The film was a long-term personal project for Harris based on him having read the 1989 biography Jackson Pollock: An American Saga, written by Steven Naifeh and Gregory White Smith.
Join Film Historian and Educator Gerard Ansellem for a screening and post-film Q&A about one of America’s most well-known artists.
