American Treasure: Louis Comfort Tiffany

American Treasure

Louis Comfort Tiffany

Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933) was one of the most creative and prolific designers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Working across glass, metalwork, jewelry, interiors, and the decorative arts, Tiffany pursued what he called a lifelong “quest of beauty,” transforming everyday objects through innovative design, craftsmanship, color, and a deep connection to nature.

This focused exhibition brings together works from the Morris Museum’s collection with a special selection of objects from the renowned Richard H. Driehaus Collection in Chicago. Together, these works offer a glimpse into Tiffany’s remarkable artistic vision and enduring influence on American decorative arts and design.
