For the final weekend of RetroBlakesberg – Captured on Film: 1978-2008, please join photographer Jay Blakesberg, as he leads walking tours of his RetroBlakesberg exhibition sharing stories behind the photographs and his experiences photographing these musical icons. The exhibit explores Jay’s work documenting the unique and colorful modern day rock and roll tribe and his journey through photographs capturing the evolution of fashion, music, and pop culture. Jay’s tour will include captivating stories of artists such as the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Carlos Santana, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joni Mitchell, Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, and many more.
These 75-minute artist-led walking tour will be held in the galleries showing Jay’s work, followed by a signing of Jay’s most recent coffee table book. It is first-come, first-serve and has limited capacity.
