Drawing & Painting Open Studio

Tuesdays, January 6 – March 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
NO class on January 20th & February 17th

This open studio course is open to artists of all levels, including beginners, who are looking to fine-tune their painting and drawing skills in a supportive, self-directed environment. With individualized guidance from the instructor, participants will have the opportunity to pursue personal projects and experiment with new techniques.

Students are encouraged to bring reference photos or materials that inspire them. Each session will include personalized instruction along with a focus on key artistic fundamentals—such as line, form, shape, lighting, color, composition, and perspective—to help strengthen technique and elevate creative expression.

Students are required to purchase supplies in advance and come prepared for the first class. Supplies may be provided for students, upon request, for a separate cost payable to the instructor on the first day of class. If a student is interested in supplies being provided, students must contact the instructor directly after registering.

This course specializes in oils, acrylics, watercolor pastels, and all drawing mediums.

This course is for adults ages 18 and older.
