Intermediate Textile Art

Mondays, January 5 – March 9, 2026, from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Expand your creative voice and technical skill in this 8-week course designed for artists ready to take their textile practice to the next level. Building on foundational techniques of stitchery, collage, and mixed-media textile art, participants will delve into advanced processes such as layering, surface manipulation, and creative material experimentation.

Through instructor guidance and independent exploration, students will refine their use of skills while developing a cohesive personal style. Historical and contemporary textile practices will serve as inspiration for deeper conceptual work and technical mastery.

This course offers an engaging environment for continued growth—encouraging artists to challenge conventions, experiment boldly, and create a finished artwork that reflects both skill and individuality.

Students are required to purchase supplies in advance and come prepared for the first class.

This course is for adults ages 18 and older.
