Work in your choice of medium as you develop your own personal style. You will learn various application techniques in your medium while developing representational paintings of your subject matter. Choose to concentrate on specific textures, for example; fabric, glass and metal objects, velvety florals, feathers of birds or choose to paint landscapes with rolling hills, ocean scenes, gardens with clouds reflecting the beautiful colors at sunset. Please bring in photos you’d like to paint. All students receive individualized attention with their specific artwork. Fundamentals of line, form, shape, lighting, color, composition and perspective will be covered. Beginner – Intermediate Beginners encouraged. Supply list available or included for an additional $25 fee payable to the instructor.

Registration is not finalized until your payment information has been received by the Museum.
- To ensure a seat, and that classes will not be canceled due to low enrollment, registrations should be completed no later than 1 week prior to the course start date. After that time, prospective registrants must contact [email protected] to check availability.
- Morris Museum reserves the right to cancel any class before the start date. If for any reason a course is canceled, all registrants will be notified about a week prior to the start of the course.
