This course is designed for beginner to intermediate artists, offering foundational skills and techniques while allowing room to grow and explore your creative potential.
Explore your chosen medium while developing your artistic style in this immersive class. You’ll learn application techniques tailored to your medium, focusing on creating representational paintings that capture your chosen subject matter. Whether you’re drawn to intricate textures—like fabric, glass, metal, velvety florals, or bird feathers—or prefer landscapes with rolling hills, ocean scenes, vibrant gardens, or sunsets, this class offers you the flexibility to explore your interests.
Bring photos that inspire you to paint and receive personalized guidance to bring your vision to life. Key artistic fundamentals—including line, form, shape, lighting, color, composition, and perspective—will be covered to strengthen your skills and elevate your work. Supplies included for an additional $25 fee payable to the instructor at the first class.
